A hyaluronic acid injectable dermal filler is the most commonly used method of lip augmentation today and it is what we use to plump lips. hyaluronic acid fillers will enhance the lips by adding shape, structure and volume to the lips.
These fillers are long lasting but temporary. hyaluronic acid is a hydrating substance found naturally in the skin and therefore the fillers are highly biocompatible and extremely unlikely to cause any kind of reaction.
The effects of lip augmentation designed to be natural looking and long lasting, typically lasting around six to nine months. After which more injections are needed to keep the volume of your lips.

All of these products are injected the same way and give similar results. Once injected, the hyaluronic acid gel in the filler supports and shapes the lips.
You will have control over the end result lip volume. The amount of product injected can be controlled by the doctor so there is no need to worry about ending up with a trout pout!
What to Expect During a lip augmentation Procedure
Injectable lip augmentation or lip plump can be performed at the clinic with little to no downtime for you afterwards.
Prior to treatment, a topical or local numbing agent may be applied to ease discomfort. Sometimes numbing injections can be given before the treatment to completely numb the lips and some of the lip plumping fillers come ready mixed with lidocaine for a more comfotable treatment.
After or doctor carefully marks the areas to be injected, a very fine needles will be used to inject the dermal filler into your lips. You should be able to notice a difference immediately. Once healed, the results should both look and feel natural.
